Plein Air Paintings

Painting outside was a revelation to me. Everything is alive, so you really can’t get stuck in your head, or your ideas of perfectionism. It’s rigorous, immersive, and the results can be vibrant and immediate. My real training in painting came from work with color and painting en plein air.
